Our goal here at Fish North Georgia is to provide information and entertainment about the sport we love. Fishing is so much more than just casting a line in the water. We strive to build up the angling and outdoor community not only here in north Georgia, but across the country and beyond. By doing videos, interviewing experts and anglers from across all the spectrums of the fishing world, and simply having fun with each other, we aim to help you become a better angler and part of something that's even more important, our family. Together we can help each other and make the sport of fishing something that we are proud to pass down to the next generation.

Tell those guys on toona that got beat with the 14 pound bag. I got beat at night on chick by a 18.39 bag and I had a 18.37 bag three fish
That's tough!
Learn how to catch fish first, then start using your scope to target quality fish on deeper structure or locatating bait. Good luck hold em hook
I’m glad to personally know this man
Haven't seen Shane in awhile. Good dude!

Dude those are awesome!!
I feel the same about a jighead and a paddletail.. just works for me. Always has, and as far as I can tell it always will.

IYKYK
@@FishNorthGeorgia what does that mean, you cant type words?
I wish yall could talk about lake Sinclair a little more since I (pedal drive) kayak bass fish there 3 or 4 times a week.... night & day...
Man if I could get some guys from down that way to come on the show, I would love to talk about it. Help us get some names!!
Why not a trailer hook for horny toads.
Bill King dance
Wow.. I recently subscribed and started listening to this podcast, and it's just what I've been looking for. I'm from middle Georgia, and am a (Pedal drive) kayak bass fisherman.. I fish local tournaments, but other than that I'm always looking for more lakes to fish at.. I've about wore out lake Sinclair, Tobosofkee, Oconee River, and some other small ponds like hamberg, and rock eagle.. so, learning about more lakes and how to fish them is awesome. there's tons of good info in these podcasts.. Thanks guys, loving it.!!
We appreciate the kind words. We are here for you guys! Spread the word!!
Amazing John
Cast braid isn't expensive. It's just that it's a 300yd spool instead of typical 150yd
Great show fellers! Sorry I missed it live
Driskell's joke about being hung and not lying about it at 2:40 definitely didn't get the laugh it deserved 😂🤣 I'm definitely using that one, preciate you Paul! 👌🏻
Lol, yeah it was a good one! I put it in my arsenal as well!
I agree with you on what icast should be about. Its current state is pretty pathetic in my opinion.
Anyone wanna talk about the man eating catfish at the damn?
Hahaha i grew up on this lake and it’s disgusting 🤢
How can you get into that tournament on allatonna in November?
Thank some local unions for that new dock. Local 85. Union strong
Finally made it back. Been way too busy. Will y’all be at GON Blast this weekend?
Thank you for the videos. I'm so glad I found your podcasts. Very informative and entertaining stuff.
Makes me want to buy cheap rods.🙃 Try that with a Saint Croix Legend Tournament and I would bet you would be pulling it out in pieces.
Danny is a good dude!!
We run a night tournament series up in Michigan, the gap in knowledge has presented some interesting results
Dudes a Hammer and a great guy!!
Those pro bubba scales are awesome!
Wait… the younger is the two old guys, he’s the guy that works with his son and rebuilds Copar wreck trucks and sells them right?
Are you talking about the host Danny?
@@FishNorthGeorgia yes
😮 I'm 60 and retired! I have been saying every year I'm going to do some night fishing *** And never do < I will get out one night this year !! And I dont have to get up a 3am << great info << TY PEACE 😊😊😊
Thanks for watching our video!
Excellent , one of the best I've ever watched,, ole school on the water knowledge
He's the man! Thanks for watching!!
Twin arm two blade Indiana copper color no.4 blade black skirt. Black blue pork trailer
Definitely a good set up right there!
Great video! The two things I can add. 1. If you're going to fish for Smallmouth bass make sure you have a good split ring (not thin wire) on the spinnerbait blade. They will rip it right off. The other is to make sure you have a tight knot on the r-bend of the spinnerbait, otherwise the line will go to the blade end and you'll end up with a straight spinnerbait. Bill is right, the 35 gauge wire is the sweet spot for spinnerbait. Those two fish I'm holding up were on spinnerbaits at night. Thank you Bill. P.S. Turn off the depth finder once you start fishing.
Thanks for sharing the tip! That's what it's all about!!
Loved this video. Never seen anybody put out a night time spinner bait fishing video. Up here in Tennessee, it's alive and well. Using Dale Hollow tackle spinner baits as well as hoppys and sloans. They're eating it up at Center hill right now for us
Awesome Show
Thank you!
I'm the best @ night. Only 10 years of the night. Mastered it my first year. It's very simple fishing and easier to catch smarter fish.
It's definitely a great time for those who know how to do it! Thanks for watching!!
This is a goldmine. Awesome interview!
OLD SCHOOL WISDOM IS THE BEST! Always respect your elders, thank you sir 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!! Bill is the man!
Great episode guys!!! 🔥
Thank you!
The realest most genuine informative video on night fishing and fishing in general insights I’ve ever witnessed seriously thank you I hope you have him back soon!
Thanks for watching! Bill is a great friend so I'll have him back on very soon!
I throw the wacky rig religiously as well. I usually add a 1/8oz weighted VMC wacky hook with a Yamamoto senko. It is indeed dummy proof lol.
My favorite way to bass fish! Thanks for watching!
What brand of grub was that
I'll ask him today and post.
Can't figure what's done with that first hook after the fluke is pulled past the eye of the hook.
That’s just used to thread the line through the fluke. Once the line is the line is through, you no longer need that hook.
Been hooking it that way for years better hook up ratio
HOT TIPS" THANX " from Idaho!
Thanks for watching!!
New bass fisher here😎🤙🏾This is GOLD! Mahalo
That’s awesome! Glad it helped.
Another version of that is to take a pop rivet and insert the tube part into the nose of the bait. Then your line runs inside the tube. You will go through fewer baits and the tube, while not heavy at all, will give the fluke a little more weight. The only downside to this is if you are like me and run a swivel about 2 feet above the bait, then when you retie you have to retie everything from the the swivel down. I tend to use the EWG hook more now because of the way and speed I am fishing it, but the treble will stick more fish. Glad Rob shared his "secret" rig.
That makes a lot of sense! Definitely need to add that to this video.
You can get some “free to me” coffee stirrers at the gas station and cut them into small pieces to put in the nose of the bait as a slide for the line through to keep from ripping up the baits and to make them slide up and down your line easier. Just be sure to take something like the point of a nail weight and use it to kind of flare out each end of the coffee stirrer after you cut it and before you insert it into the bait. That way it smooths any potentially sharp edges left by cutting it. That way it doesn’t damage your line at all.
That’s a great addition to this! I’ll have to try that.
Bill has so much knowledge I can’t take it all in. Need to take another trip with him
We all do!
I wonder if you kind of revitalize a spent swivel with a couple shots of WD40 during the night. This gentleman is an absolute gem.
He's the man!
